Automated point soldering system

The motor power is the power supply to the automated point soldering system. If you turn on the automated point soldering system, it cannot move unless the motor power is also turned on.

Before turning on the automated point soldering system, turn on the motor power by following one of the methods below.

  1. Via I/O-SYS If the operation box is connected to I/O-SYS, turn on the POWER ON switch on the operation box. If the external control device is connected to I/O-SYS, turn on the external I/O signal sysIn15 ([Motor Power ON]).
  2. Via COM1 If the external control device (e.g. PC) is connected to COM1, send the R0 (Power ON) command to the automatic point soldering system.
  3. Via TPU (Teaching Pendant Connector) If the teaching pendant is connected to TPU (teaching pendant connector) on the control box, press the .SERVO. key while pressing the enable switch.

When the motor power is turned on, the flowing indicator lights up:

  • The [M.POWER] light on the teaching pendant • The POWER ON switch lamp on the operation box

Select the Run mode to run programs. Turn on the automatic point soldering system and then turn the select key switch on the control box to [RUN]. If the teaching pendant is connected, the [RUN] light on the teaching pendant will turn on when running in this mode.

Use the emergency stop switch to stop the robot if any accident has occurred during operation.  The motor power (power to the motor) will be turned off and the automatic point soldering system will stop running if you press any of the switches indicated below:
